So you have seen the beautiful Megan showing off her baby bump in a previous post of mine, well now it is time to meet the little bundle of Joy – Gabriel. I am so happy that I could have shared these moments with Megan and Kris and I do wish them happiness and blessings as they embark on this new chapter in their lives.
Here are some of the photographs that I took of them at their home in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
I met Kris and Megan at a corporate event that I photographed and I got the chance to speak to them and found out that they are the loveliest couple. So when I saw them again a couple of month after the event, I found out that Megan is pregnant and that they are awaiting the arrival of their little boy. Soon after that, they contacted me and well, the rest is history. I got the opportunity to photograph them on a beautiful farm just outside Wellington, South Africa and boy, the venue was amazing…see for yourself
What a great experience it was to photograph they Hendricks Family in the beautiful Newlands Forest. The coolest thing is that I actually met Lemiez (the mommy) about 15 months ago while she was pregnant at a corporate event that I photographed at the Fire and Ice Hotel in Cape Town. Little Zakariya was soooo cute and awesome to work with. What was awesome was to see the love that radiated from this family, and that makes what I so worth it.
And now, here is a sneak peek of the shoot. More images to follow.
I have had the opportunity to shoot the beautiful Bianca Rheeders as a present from her friend (What a great present) at the lovely Paradyskloof Forest in Stellenbosch. Here is the full shoot. I really did enjoy this and hope to work with her again one day in the future…A big thank you to Anke for the stunning hair and make-up! If you would like to do such a shoot in the future, then you know where to contact me.
The SAIW held their first Annual Gala Dinner to not only celebrate the successes but to thank the students, staff and the stakeholders for their support during the past years. The event was held at the beautiful Eensgezind function venue just outside of Durbanville. One of the highlights of the night was definitely the Gugulethu Tenors performing an Afrikaans Medley that got many of the attendees smiling. Here are some of the images: Continue reading →

This wedding was a wedding that I had the opportunity to second shoot with Lisa Rieken, very talented and up and coming photographer. Johandre and Anita’s wedding was something to remember as I heard the beautiful story of how she, just by who she was and how she lived her life, influenced Johandre so much that he gave his life to Christ and became a Christian. Wow, what a testimony! You can see their love for another and truly feel it.
This was one of the most intimate weddings that I have shot in my time as a wedding and portrait photographer. Just family…and me. The wedding celebrations were held in the beautiful West Coast town of Paternoster right on the beach.
This is just a sneak peek and please be make sure to come back again for more in a few weeks.
